AC-1.5

The softest of AC’s it is a blend of asphalt cement cut back with lighter oils, when mixed with it soil it makes a quality coal lay.  This  material is most often mixed in a hot mix plant or at a pug-mill.  The Texas Department of Transportation lists the typical use of this material for Hot-mixes, cold-laid asphalt mixtures and as a recycling agent, under Table 18, paragraph 300.4. page 214 in the 2004 State Handbook.
